Roger the Reindeer
is a fantastically tactful story about the importance of literacy.
Parents will be thrilled to bits with the positive outcomes of this
story. The book will implicitly make children aware of the necessity of
being able to read and write in everyday life.
Roger is a lovable and independent character who
gets in to quite a muddle because of his inability to read and write
properly. A lot of children have this same problem and will be able to
relate well with a story as such. Therefore this story is the perfect
way to get them to concentrate and give them incentive to do well in
school.
